Kurnool To Turn Industrial Corridor, Create 18K Jobs: Chandrababu Naidu. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said that the proposed Mega Food Park would generate more employment in Kurnool district.

The AP CM today laid a foundation stone for the Ultra Mega Food park in Tangadancha village of Jupadubangla mandal in the district. Addressing the gathering, Chandrababu said "As many as 17 industries are coming up in the district and they will attract Rs 3000 crore investments. These industries will provide jobs for 18,000 people. We will develop infrastructure at an estimated cost of Rs 250 crore which will make Kurnool an industrial corridor."
He also assured that he would keep up all the promises he made to the district. "A six lane highway would be built between Guntur and Kurnool," he said.
