Hyderabad: Actor and Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan has opposed the forcible acquisition of agricultural land and asked the Andhra Pradesh government not to invoke the land acquisition act against the farmers under the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) area.

Pawan Kalyan, who had earlier expressed similar reservations against acquisition of land from the farmers in the CRDA region, had gone to the extent of fighting for their cause during his visit to the area if their land was taken away forcibly.

This time, Pawan Kalyan asked the government not to invoke the Land Acquisition Act against the farmers for the capital city.
