Telugu Desam Party thanked Super Star Mahesh Babu for his decidion to adopt his father’s birth place Burripalem village in Andhra Pradesh.
Recentely, Mahesh gave credit to Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu that the smart village initiative lead by Chandrababu Naidu promoted him to adpot his own village.
"A real life hero...Telugu Desam thanks actor Mahesh Babu for coming forward to adopt Burripalem in Andhra Pradesh and another village in Telangana. The nation needs many such real life heroes!," TDP officials Facebook posted this along with a picture.
Mahesh has said he will also adopt a village in the Mahabubnagar District of Telangana.
In response to a suggestion made by Telangana Information Technology and Panchayati Raj Minister K.T. Rama Rao, Mahesh made this announcement on twitter on Wednesday.
