Interlinking Krishna and Godavari rivers through Pattiseema project is the best step in river linking in the country, said Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu.
The Union Minister addressed the media at the conference on housing in Delhi on Wednesday and said that the interlinking is the first step for Ganga-Cauvery river link.
Calling the river linking a long-cherished dream of the people, Venkaiah Naidu added that Congress is stalling development of the country just to oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policies.
