As many as 19 IAS officers from Andhra Pradesh and 22 from Telangana State have declared that they have no assets. Another 47 officials from AP and 28 from Telangana did not submit the returns for the year 2014.
Hyderabad: As many as 19 IAS officers from Andhra Pradesh and 22 from Telangana State have declared that they have no assets. Another 47 officials from AP and 28 from Telangana did not submit the returns for the year 2014.
A report prepared by ‘Factly’, which analyzed the IPRs (Immovable Property Returns) submitted by the IAS officials of the two states to the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), said that 8 per cent of the total 152 officials in AP and 22 per cent of the total number of 118 officers in Telangana did not have assets either in their names or spouse names.
In AP, the IAS officials who did not possess assets are - Poonam Malakondiah, Praveen Kumar Kolaventy, Anil Kumar Singhal, D Varaprasad, Gulzar N, G. Ravi Babu, Mudavatu M Nayak, Mutyalaraju Revu, Kartikeya Misra, Shweta Teotia, Girisha P S, Prasanna Venkatesh V, Pattanshetti Ravi Subash, Sikta Patnaik, Md Musharraf Ali Faruqui, Sumit Kumar and Vetriselvi K.
In Telangana, 22 officials including Additional Secretary to Chief Minsiter Smita Sabharwal, Vikas Raj, GD Aruna, B Venkatesham, Benhur Mahesh Dutt Ekka, Navin Mittal, Shailaja Ramaiyer, Ahmed Nadeem, N Sridhar, A Ashok, V Sheshadari, Rahul Bojja, Neetu Kumari Prasad, G Kishan, Jyoti Buddha Prakash, Yogita Rana, Pausumi Basu, Sarfaraz Ahmad, Rajeevgandhi Hanumanthu, K Shashanka, Adwait Kumar Singh and D Venkateswara Rao declared nil assets on their names.
The report also disclosed the names of the 47 IAS officials from AP who did not file returns. They were - Aswini Kumar Parida, AR Sukumar, Ajay Prakash Sawhney, S Narsing Rao, Neerabh Kumar Prasad , Vijay Kumar, Somesh Kumar, Ram Prakash Sisodia, K Vijayanand, Budithi Rajsekhar , Shamsheer Singh Rawat, MV Satyanarayana, I Srinivas Srinaresh, Shashi Bhushan Kumar, Rama Shankar Naik, Kanti Lal Dande, GSRKR Vijay Kumar, Kona Sasidhar, N Krishna , P Venkatarami Reddy, P Lakshmi Narasimham, Pradyumna PS, N Yuvaraj, M Janaki, M Jagannadham, I Samuel Anand Kumar, V Karuna , KV Satyanarayan, H Arun Kumar, P Usha Kumari, PA Shobha, Pravin Kumar, D Ronald Rose, K Harshavardhan, P Bhaskara, Ch Sridhar, MV Seshagiri Babu, D Muralidhar Reddy, B Laxmi Kantham, K Kanna Babu, G Veerapandian, Dr Narayana Bharath Gupta, Amrapali Kata, J Nivas, Gandam Chandrudu, Mallikarjuna A and Lakshmisha G.
In Telangana, 28 officials - Yerra Srilakshmi, A Santhi Kumari, Shashank Goel, Jayesh Ranjan , C Parthasarathi, R V Chandravadan, Sabyasachi Ghose , Sanjay Kumar, G Venkata Ram Reddy , Syed Omar Jaleel, A Dinakar Babu, Dr Christina Z Chongthu, P Satyanarayana Reddy, Dr Ilambarithi K, T K Sreedevi, Anita Ramachandran, A Sharath, KY Naik, P Venkata Rami Reddy, Rajat Kumar Saini, B Vijiendra, Kiran Chevvuru, Harichandana Dasari, Ms Preeti Meena, Ms Sweta Mohanty, Alagu Varsini VS, Khartade Kalicharan Sudamrao, and Siva Sankar Lotheti did not file the returns.
