Guntur: District Collector Kantilal Dande is ensuring that his officials make coordinated efforts with Krishna district administration alongside CRDA for massive arrangements to be made for the upcoming event in Uddandarayapalem on October 22.
It is learnt that the event, which will be headed by Prime Minister, will also be graced by dignitaries from Singapore, Japan and a couple of CMs including Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
Collector Kantilal told reporters on Friday that after a coordination meeting held at the ZP hall, 15 committees were formed to oversee infrastructure development, sanitation, water supply,
roads expansion, laying of bypass roads, transportation, health, food arrangements, reception and invitations apart from building of 15 helipads.
The Collector revealed that the Chief Minister wants a festive atmosphere to pervade in the capital region and asked the administration to treat the farmers who gave their lands for the capital cause, as VIPs. About 2.5 lakh people are expected to grace the occasion on October 22.
