CPI-M state secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram on Sunday said that he won't be attending the Amaravati foundation ceremony despite being invited.
He said that the AP Government had forcibly acquitted the lands for the construction of AP Capital Amaravati from the farmers. Tammineni said that from March 25, the party will hold plenary session in Nagarjuna Sagar in Warangal.
The CPM secretary further said that the Telangana government is not responding to the issues of farmers. He demanded to increase the number of houses in the housing scheme for the poor and waive off the farmers loans in one settlement.
