After the elaborate meeting with the party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, party leader Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy addressed the media and said that their focus is on the special status issue.
The YSRCP leader said that the Centre gave a categorical assurance in the parliament on the accordance of special status during the bifurcation of the state but the following NDA government backed out on the assurance. He added that all the state issues including demand for increasing the support price for agricultural products as due to the untimely rains, the farmers suffered huge losses will be raised in the House.
