The AP Government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by DIG Mahesh Chandra Ladda to probe into the adulterated liquor case where seven people lost their lives and 29 others were hospitalised in Vijayawada after consuming illicit liquor.
Director General of Police JV Ramudu stated that the accused would be punished once the probe by SIT is completed. Meanwhile, the arrested persons named Congress leader Malladi Vishnu who is absconding as the main accused.
