Prominence of acquiring multiple skills highlighted
The Literary Association of PB Siddhartha College of Arts & Science conducted an event ‘AKSHARA-2K15’ at its campus here on Thursday. Prof K Krishna Murthy, Director of PG Center participated as chief guest for the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Krishna Murthy stressed the need for acquiring multiple skills which helps them to get equipped well to face the increasing competition in the society.
He advised students to plan their careers right from the college days itself by listening to the best kinds of advice from teachers and elders. Students should pursue the skills in the areas where they were strong and where they would like to find their future careers, he said.
Several events like elocution, group discussion, Spell-Be, Photography, Debate, Sand painting, Thematic presentation, Quiz, Collage were conducted as part of the event.
College Principal Dr MVN Padma Rao, director V Babu Rao, Sis Candy D’Cunha, event convener P Subhakar, secretary, K Perachary and other faculty members were also present.
