Speaking on the occasion, State joint secretary of the union Krishna demanded that the government reduce prices of medicines. He demanded for restoration of vaccine plants. He sought prevention of unethical marketing systems. He asked for a judicial probe against pharma companies, which are doing unethical business. He appealed for ban on online sales of medicines. He urged the government to prevent United States domination on pharma sector. He asked the Centre to stop foreign direct investments in pharma sector.
Secretary of Rajahmundry unit Raviseshu Kumar lamented that the Indian government handed over the public health to private operators who were looting the people in the name of brands. He demanded for monitoring on profits of pharma companies. Rajahmundry president of the union Ranadeep Singh demanded for regulation of work for sales promotion employees. He demanded for maternity holidays for women medical representatives.

State leader Sathi Raju demanded for inclusion of sales promotion employees in highly-skilled workers list and implementation of minimum wages. He further demanded for strict implementation of ESI and PF.
