V Ramakrishna, Principal, Vignan Junior College of Nalgonda, participating as chief guest, has suggested to the students to utilise all opportunities in the globalisation era. He said the world is looking at India as there is plenty of youth power available in the nation. He said as far as mathematics is concerned, it’s the part of our lives and the students should concentrate on the subject not only for marks but to gain knowledge.

Prof Y N Reddy, Department of Mathematics, NIT, Warangal, speaking on the topic ‘Mathematics unlimited’, said there are so many changes in mathematics like the changes happening in the world.

He said for everything, including science and technology, ecological imbalance and other issues, mathematics is important. The students have to strive hard to gain full knowledge in mathematics, he added. College Principal Sister Mercy congratulated the students for participating in the seminar. Mathematics Head of the Department K L Saraswati also spoke.

Later, a technical session on mathematics was held. HoD, Department of Mathematics V Radhakrishna Murthy of Sir CR Reddy College and Dr. Nirmal Jyotsna explained the differential equations, mathematics and the link between physics and mathematics.
