Awards for scribes on Ugadi: Ganta Trust

Visakhapatnam: Ganta China Rosaiah and Narayanamma Memorial Best Journalists' Awards-2015 will be presented to the journalists on Ugadi Day, informed Ganta Ravi Teja, son of HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, who founded Ganta Narayanamma Memorial Trust.
Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, Ravi Teja said there are four awards-Best print media Telugu journalist award, Best print media English journalist award, Best television journalist award and Best photo journalist award which carries a cash prize of Rs 50,000 each.
Apart from these four awards, a journalist will also be felicitated with Lifetime Achievement Journalist Award which carries a cash prize of Rs one lakh and a citation. Ravi Teja appealed to journalists in all 13 districts to send their entries along with their biodata, particulars of original stories published or telecast during the calendar year of 2015 before Jan 31, 2016 for scrutiny.

Committee chairman and former Vice-Chancellor Prof V Balamohandas and members Prof P Bobby Vardhan and Prof Challa Ramakrishna were present.
