Special trains for Araku Valley

The Waltair Division of East Coast Railway has decided to run special trains to Araku Valley in order to clear extra rush of tourists visiting the Valley and Borra Caves. The trains will run only on January 2 and 3 during which a large number of tourists are expected to visit the city for Visakha Utsav.

Visakhapatnam: The Waltair Division of East Coast Railway has decided to run special trains to Araku Valley in order to clear extra rush of tourists visiting the Valley and Borra Caves. The trains will run only on January 2 and 3 during which a large number of tourists are expected to visit the city for Visakha Utsav.

The train No 08511 Visakhapatnam-Araku passenger special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 8 am and reach Araku at 11.50 am. In the return direction, the train will leave Araku Valley at 12.45 pm and arrive at Visakhapatnam on the same day at 4.20 pm.

The trains will stop at Simhachalam, Kottavalasa, S Kota and Borra Caves between Visakhapatnam and Araku Valley. These trains comprise seven general second class, two second class sitting and two second class sitting-cum-luggage coaches.
