The YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's meeting with former Union minister Dasari Narayan Rao sparked speculations and raised many a eyebrows.
YS Jagan along with his close aide Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, a former MLA from Tirupati and former TTD Trust Board chairman, drove straight to Dasari's house and held a close door meeting with him.
Though the hour long visit was a courtesy call, speculations are rife that Dasari, who is a kapu leader, is all set to join the YSRCP.
Dasari has been keeping away from the Congress party activities and maintaining strategic silence for quite sometime now.
There were reports that YS Jagan invited Dasari into the party to woo kapu community and Dasari is said to have agreed to join the party.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Dasari termed the meeting as a courtesy call.
