The High Court of Hyderabad issued stay orders for the donation towards development of AP Capital Amaravati. The AP government's decision to collect Rs 10 from each student from the educational institutions in the state was challenged by YSRCP Legal Cell Convener Sudhakar Reddy who filed a petition in the High Court.
AP TDP leader Akkineni Ramesh informed that the State government did not issue GO seeking donations from students and that the Director for School Education Usha Rani had given a circular to collect Rs 10 from students.
