Problems of mining cos will be redressed
Minister for Mining Peethala Sujatha assured the representatives of mining companies of north Coastal Andhra at a meeting here on Tuesday that all problems would be redressed after holding discussions with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Visakhapatnam: Minister for Mining Peethala Sujatha assured the representatives of mining companies of north Coastal Andhra at a meeting here on Tuesday that all problems would be redressed after holding discussions with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
She called upon the mining companies to pay royalty regularly to help increase the State revenue. Stating that all deserved companies would be allotted mines from February, the Minister promised that steps would be taken for providing uninterrupted power supply to Ferro Silicon and Ferro Manganese companies.
Later, she released the diaries brought out by the department of mines. Secretary of Mines Girija Sankar, Managing Director Venkaiah Choudary, Mining Deputy Director N Ranga Rao and assistant directors were present at the meeting.
