Speaker calls on Kamineni
Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao has visited Health Minister Dr Kamineni Sreenivas who underwent a minor knee cap surgery on Friday.
Guntur: Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao has visited Health Minister Dr Kamineni Sreenivas who underwent a minor knee cap surgery on Friday. The Minister is recuperating and is said to be fine. The Speaker conveyed his good wishes to the Minister and hoped for his speedy recovery.
Later, speaking to reporters on the hospital premises here on Sunday, Dr Kodela said that Minister Kamineni, by getting his knee cap surgery performed in the government hospital, had raised the morale of the doctors and also created faith in the common man on the quality of treatment and expertise available at the hospital.
He said that the Government General Hospital and the Medical College are known for churning out the best doctors who are now serving in noted hospitals in countries far away. He said that the government was bringing in sweeping changes in government hospitals and improving infrastructure and quality of treatment.
