Flays CM for failing to keep promise made to Kapus
Eluru: Ambati Rambabu, YSRCP spokesman called upon the Kapu community cutting across party lines to attend ‘Kapu Garjana’ on January 31 and make it a grand success. He said despite differences of opinion on policy matters, YSRCP is extending support to Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham.
Addressing a press conference here at district YSRCP office here on Thursday, Ambati said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has failed to keep promise made to Kapu community during 2014 general elections. He criticised Naidu for cheating farmers, women and unemployed youth after coming to power in the State.
The YSRCP leader said that Naidu promised to allot Rs 1,000 crore fund every year to Kapu Corporation and but allotted only Rs 100 crore in one-and-half years. He alleged that the Chief Minister has failed to take any action to include Kapus on BC list. YSRCP RTC Mazdoor Union chairman P Ravindranath Reddy and district party president Kothapalli Subbarayudu were also present at the press conference.
