YSR Congress party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on his second-day tour of Kadapa district found that there was no water supply in over 100 villages for more than three weeks. The drinking water in the villages in Pulivendula constituency is supplied from Parnapalle CPW Scheme but the authorities had cut off the water supply for three weeks due to reasons unknown.
After the issue coming to the YSRCP leaders' notice, he immediately spoke to the RWS superintendent engineer and ensured drinking water supply to the villagers on Saturday. YS Jagan interacted with the villagers of Bakkannagari Palle in Vempalle mandal where they had expressed their issues of DWCRA and farm loans not being waived by the state government.
