Vehicle-lifter held
The Three Town Police on Saturday arrested an alleged vehicle-lifter Vardhinedi Narayana alias Guddi Narayana (39) of the NTR Buildings area near Gutti Petrol Bunk, on the town outskirts, and recovered from his possession 12 motorcycles.

The vehicles were parked in the Kurnool Government Hospital, Rythu Bazaar, SBI Main Branch, Gowri Gopal Hospital, Mourya Inn Hotel and Outdoor Stadium, in the Three and Two Town limits.
The police said in a press release that Narayana used to lift the bikes using duplicate keys. The seizure was effected by CCS CI P Sivasankar, Kurnool Three Town CI Madhusudhana Rao and CCS SI Ameer under the supervision of SP AK Ravikrishna and Additional SP T Chandrasekhar Reddy.
Six of the nine cases involving the two-wheelers were registered by the Three Town police, and the rest by the Two Town staff. The SP stated ASI Narasimhulu, Head Constables Mastan, Murali, Vijayraju, constables Sudarsanam, Nagaraju, Devaraju, Vinod, Kishore, Sameer and Ravi have been rewarded for nabbing the vehicle-lifter and recovering the motorcycles.
