The Centre has on Wednesday declared that 106 districts in 10 states including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as affected by Left Wing Extremism. According to the list released by Minister of State for Home Affairs Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary in a written reply to a question by D Raja in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday,

​Hyderabad: The Centre has on Wednesday declared that 106 districts in 10 states including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as affected by Left Wing Extremism. According to the list released by Minister of State for Home Affairs Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary in a written reply to a question by D Raja in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, eight out of 10 districts barring Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy have been declared as Left Wing Extremist affected.

These include; Adilabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Medak, Mehboobnagar, Nalgonda, Warangal and Nizamabad. The eight districts in Andhra Pradesh are Anantapur, East Godavari, Guntur, Kurnool, Prakasam, Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram.
