Delhi: Minority Welfare Minister Dr Palle Raghunadha Reddy, accompanied by MLA Zaleel Khan, MLC Sharif, former MP Saifullah and minority welfare authorities, had a hectic schedule in Delhi on Thursday.

He held parleys with Muslim organisations like Jamat-e-Ulema and Muslim Personal Law Board that challenged High Court order dismissing 4 per cent quota for poor Muslims and legal experts on constitution of five-member panel of legal experts to deal with the case in the Apex court.

He told them the government is committed to four per cent quota for the poor Muslims. He interacted with the Union Ministers requesting them to release funds due to the State and also to his Anantpur district and invited them for the two-day Lepakshi Utsavam to be held on February 27 and 28.
