Agri Gold issue: YSRCP demand adjournment motion over the debate
With the continuous protests being organised by Agri Gold Customers and Agents Welfare Association along with the political parties that include YSRCP, reports suggested that the Agri Gold issue will be up for a debate in the Assembly.

As the AP Assembly proceedings began on Monday, the Opposition YSR Congress raised the issue of Agri Gold demanding to move adjournment motion over the debate and questioned the measures being taken for the victims of Agri Gold.
Responding to the YSRCP's demand, Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao pointed out that the issue is in the order sequence and will be placed before Assembly. However, the opposition continued to interrupt the Speaker to which he stated that they cannot dictate the Chair and added that the said issue, will be taken for a debate at the right time in the Assembly.
Earlier, TDP MLA Bonda Umamaheswara Rao spoke on the issue and said that the Agrigold victims will be given justice by the TDP government. Lashing out at YSRCP for spreading false campaign on Agrigold assets, the TDP MLA questioned the Opposition party leaders as to how the assets could be sold when the case was under the purview of High Court.
