Babu Jagjivan Ram envisaged modern India

Speaking at the 109th birth anniversary of Babu Jagjivan Ram organised by TTD here on Tuesday, Bhaskar said Jagjivan Ram fought for the equality.
“Babu Jagjivan Ram had envisaged modern India,” he added. At a commemorative meeting organised by CPM, party district secretary K Kumar Reddy said that real tribute to Babu Jagjivan Ram was to end caste discrimination in the country. RPI State secretary Anjaiah lamented that the caste discrimination and the atrocities on oppressed classes is increasing in the country even after 69 years of independence. YSRCP SC Cell State leader Rajendra and others also spoke.
