The State unit of the All India Postal and RMS Pensioners Association will stage a dharna at the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) office in Hyderabad on April 13 demanding the government to set up hospitals exclusively for pensioners in the State. In a statement here on Friday, association district president P Linganna and secretary S Brahmam underlined the need for setting up of hospitals.

Kurnool: The State unit of the All India Postal and RMS Pensioners Association will stage a dharna at the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) office in Hyderabad on April 13 demanding the government to set up hospitals exclusively for pensioners in the State. In a statement here on Friday, association district president P Linganna and secretary S Brahmam underlined the need for setting up of hospitals exclusively for pensioners to provide them better medicare.

They also demanded that the CGHS head office in the State be set up in capital Amaravati and its branch offices in Kurnool, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati for the benefit of pensioners. The association submitted a memorandum at the office of local MP Butta Renuka urging her to take up the cause of pensioners.
