Amaravati: Minister for Agriculture Prattipati Pulla Rao instructed the district administration to make necessary arrangements to conduct Krishna Pushkaralu in a big way. He conducted a review meeting at ZP conference hall on Tuesday and reviewed arrangement for Krishna Pushkaralu.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that the district administration had submitted proposals requesting for the release of Rs 485 crore for Krishna Pushkaralu. So far, the government had sanctioned Rs 255 crore to take up necessary works. He stressed on the coordination among officials to complete the works within the stipulated time.

He directed them make the arrangements keeping in mind the experience of Godavari Pushkaralu. He instructed the officials to speed up the execution of works. District Collector Kantilal Dande explained measures taken by the district administration to complete the works for Krishna Pushkaralu.

He said they would construct a big ghat from Dhyana Buddha project site to Amareswara Swamy temple for the convenience of pilgrims and reminded that steps were taken to develop Amaravati with the funds released by the Central government. He said that he would take steps to complete the Dhyana Buddha Project works.

He said the R&B, P&R departments would complete the works within the stipulated time. MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao suggested the officials to make arrangement in a big way at Amaravti and Tadepalli and provide necessary infrastructure and facilities for pilgrims. MLAs Modugula Venugopala Reddy, T Sravan Kumar, officials of various government department were present.
