Anantapur: APCC chief N Raghuveera Reddy lashed out at the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for compromising on State's interests just to appease Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Raghuveera Reddy stated that Naidu has been found caring two hoots for the interests of the State and trying to satisfy Rao out of the way.

In the process, Naidu is mortgaging the interests of the State, he claimed. Naidu is turning a blind eye to the irrigation projects being constructed by the Telangana State over River Krishna despite they affect and violate inter-State river water sharing agreements adversely.

The AP government under any circumstance relinquishes control over villages merged into Andhra Pradesh from Bhadrachalam region. He accused the Chief Minister of being lenient towards his Telangana State counterpart.

The APCC would not keep quiet if Naidu would continue to act against the interests of the State, Raghuveera warned.
