The Polytechnic Common Entrance Test 2016 (POLYCET) will be held on April 27 from 11 am to 1 pm across the State, announced the Commissioner of Collegiate and Technical Education B Udaya Lakshmi here on Monday.
​Vijayawada: The Polytechnic Common Entrance Test 2016 (POLYCET) will be held on April 27 from 11 am to 1 pm across the State, announced the Commissioner of Collegiate and Technical Education B Udaya Lakshmi here on Monday.
About 40 coordinating centres have been set up accordingly. As many as 333 examination centres have been identified. Among of them, girls will give the examination in 40 centres while the rest 293 centres are for boys.
Question papers will be bilingual (English and Telugu) and will contain only multiple choices. Out of the total 120 questions, 60 questions will be from Mathematics, 30 from Physics and 30 from Chemistry.
40 special observers will be deployed while 6600 invigilators will be on duty during the examination. There would be 330 local observers too.
