NTR complex to get 2 more floors
Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development P Narayana laid the foundation for the construction of two floors for the NTR commercial complex at Governorpet on Tuesday. The VMC is constructing two floors at a cost of Rs 9.97 crore and works would be completed in one year.

Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Koneru Sridhar said late N T Ramarao had constructed the NTR complex building to provide parking facility in the heart of the city. He said the VMC gets Rs 6 lakh revenue every month on the complex. Municipal Commissioner G Veerapandiyan said the 119 shops would be constructed in two floors.
Minister P Narayana said the State government had granted Rs 105 crore for Pushkaram works and would sanction another Rs 75 crore. Corporators and municipal officials attended the event.
