West Godavari bags third place in Inter second year results
West Godavari district secured third place in Intermediate second year results which were announced on Tuesday. When compared to boys, girls bagged top positions with 80 per cent results. In second year Intermediate examinations, the district has achieved 77 per cent results. In all, 20,955 students passed out of 29, 078 students who attended the examination.

Out of 12,123,who attended the the examinations, 8,958 students passed. The boys’ percentage stood at 74 per cent. Out of 14,955 girls, who attended the exam, 11,997 girls passed achieving 80 per cent results. In first year, the district stood at fourth place with 70 per cent results. Over 32,017 students attended and out of which 22,375 passed.
About 14,349 boys attended the exam and 9,227 passed achieving 64 per cent result. Whereas the girls out of 17,668, 13,148 passed achieving 74 per cent results. In MPC group, Mohammad Ahmad Nizamuddin (990), Sai Sujatha (990) Pavan Sai (990), Venkata Satya Vaishnavi (990 marks) were among the top 10 in the State, while in B PC group Karuturi Sri Ramya with 988 marks secured State rank from West Godavari district.
