Gollapudi Ayyappa Swamy temple anniversary fete

Vijayawada: Ayyappa Swamy Devasthanam Trust of Gollapudi will organise a week-long activities to mark the temple completing four decades. The events will begin with a special Maha Ganapathi Homam at 5 am on May 11, said the organisers.

Releasing a poster here at their office on Saturday, the organisers mentioned that the celebrations of the temple will conclude with a Maha Annadanam programme which will be held on May 18. Devotees, who wish to take part in the special prayers, should follow strict dress code.

The event will witness Ayyappa Swamy ‘Ashta Bandha’, ‘Thalsabhishekam’, ‘Mahaswarna Kumbhabhishekam’ and many such special offerings to Ayyappa Swamy on the temple premises in Gollapudi, the orgnisers said.
