Kids learn art of moulding

Visakhapatnam: A large number of school children participated in a special summer camp on moulding mud toys organised by Gayatri Vidya Parishad’s MLBT School at East Point Colony here on Tuesday.

Well-known artist Ch Mohan and assisted by the students of Andhra University Fine Arts Department K Vijay, P Raviteja and N Navin taught the children on how to make toys from the mud.

School principal K Madhuravani said such camps help the children learn the importance of protection of environment and avoid usage of plastic and artificial colours which have impact on the climate.

Gayatri Vidya Parishad chairman D Dakshina Murthy and Prof P Rajaganapathy were also present at the camp and appreciated the children for showing enthusiasm.
