Vijayawada: The TDP is now facing a new kind of a problem. The differences between TDP leaders and new entrants from YSRCP have come out in open at the mini Mahanadu’s that are being held at various parts of the State.

The mini Mahanadus are held ahead of the main Mahanadu in every district to give a chance to leaders and party workers at various levels to express their opinion on various issues and based on the feedback and suggestions, the resolutions for the main Mahanadu will be finalised.

The slugfest between the followers of TDP veteran from Addanki, Karanam Balaramakrishna Murthy and sitting MLA Gottipati Ravikumar , who had recently joined the party from the YSRCP was so intense that police had to intervene.

Similar, incidents were witnessed on Sunday in Narsapuram and become a sort of pattern in almost every constituency. In the mini Mahanadu that was held at Yerragondapalem followers of local YSRCP MLA Palaparthi David Raju who recently joined TDP had to face the ire of local TDP leaders.

It was no different in Kadiri, Chittoor, Kadapa and Anantapur. It remains to be seen what would happen on Monday when the mini mahanadu would be held at Kurnool. There are serious differences between the groups led by Dy Chief Minister K E Krishnamurty and Nandyal MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy who migrated to TDP.

Stung by this new development, TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday swung into action and issued a stern warning to his party leaders, asking them not to openly fight with each other."All of you should work together to strengthen the party, instead of involving yourselves in petty quarrels. I am ready to lose those who violate party's discipline," Naidu reportedly told his party men.
