TG Venkatesh secures TDP's Rajya Sabha nomination

Former Congress minister, TG Venkatesh who secured TDP's Rajya Sabha nomination heaped praises on the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh.

Stating that the TDP nomination was possible only with the co-operation by all party leaders and TDP Chief General Secretary Nara Lokesh, Venkatesh said that he would co-operate in the development of the state while remaining loyal to the party.

Venkatesh went on to say that TDP was implementing policies for the welfare of the Backward Classes and the Dalits adding that he hoped that the policies yield faster results in the development of the state. TDP's other seats have been allotted to Union Minister Srujana Chowdary, and to BJP's Suresh Prabhu.
