After inaugurating the Stray Dogs’ Mass Surgery Centre at Dog Kennel, Kota Narava area in the city on Wednesday, Praveen Kumar told reporters that it was proposed to sterilise 20,000  stray dogs in next six months.  He claimed that the entire process of sterilisation will be covered by CCTV cameras, the first of its kind in the country.

Visakhapatnam: Municipal Commissioner Praveen Kumar said that the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has taken up sterilisation of stray dogs under the limits of the corporation with Rs 2.5 crore.

After inaugurating the Stray Dogs’ Mass Surgery Centre at Dog Kennel, Kota Narava area in the city on Wednesday, Praveen Kumar told reporters that it was proposed to sterilise 20,000 stray dogs in next six months.
