Rededicate to State’s development exhorts Pratthipati Pulla Rao
Speaking on the occasion, he said that Collector Kantilal Dande, MLC Rama Krishna and officials took oath that they would rededicate themselves for the development of the State.
Amaravati: Minister for Agriculture Pratthipati Pulla Rao administered the oath of the Nava Nirmana Deeksha to the people at a programme in Sri Venkateswra Vignan Mandir in Guntur city on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that Collector Kantilal Dande, MLC Rama Krishna and officials took oath that they would rededicate themselves for the development of the State.
When Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu administered the oath in Vijayawada, at the same time, Pulla Rao, too, administered the oath in Guntur city.
Speaking on the occasion, Pratthipati Pulla Rao said that the government will complete the optical fibre work by next month end and provide internet connections to all the houses by July end.
He further stated that the government will construct the multipurpose Polavaram irrigation project by 2018.
He said that at present the Chief Minister is concentrating on the capital city development and providing employment to the youth.
He reminded that the steps taken by
N Chandrababu Naidu for the development of the State, including land pooling for the construction of the capital, infrastructure development in Amaravati.
The Minister said in spite of financial crisis, the government waived crop loans and loans given to the SHGs to keep the election promises and implementing the Chandranna Bheema Scheme for workers working in unorganised sector.
He said Japan, China countries are looking towards Andhra Pradesh to set up
industries.
District Collector Kantilal Dande said that the steps are being taken by the district administration to construct rain
water harvesting pits and sought cooperation of the people for the development of the State.
Earlier, he flagged off the Nava Nirmsana Deeksha rally at the NTR Stadium in Guntur city.
Guntur West MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy said that he would take steps to develop infrastructure in Guntur city and improve the drinking water supply.
Guntur Urban Superintendent of Police Sarva Sresta Tripati, APCO chairman Murugudu Hanumantha Rao, former MLA Dr Rayapati Srinivas, officials of various government departments were present.
