  • Calls upon people and leaders to join hands in developing the State

He said that the State was bifurcated in the most unjust manner and it needs support of everyone for development. Stating that it was not time for him or others to play politics, he requested every leader and every citizen to join hands with him in the mission to develop the State.

Naidu said that the people of the State were thrown on the roads without capital city, with revenue deficit and no facilities. However, he took up the mission and was working to provide basic infrastructure. He recalled that the farmers of the capital villages have given 33,000 acres of lands for building capital.

He termed the land pooling in the capital villages as a historic step by the farmers, who have confidence in his leadership. However, he regretted that some selfish leaders were criticizing him for political gains. The Chief Minister wanted Pothula Rama Rao and his supporters to join him in the development of the State with special focus on Prakasam district.

He said he would always give special priority to Prakasam district and ensure that the district gets the maximum benefit during his tenure for its development. The Minister for Transport Sidda Raghava Rao and other senior leaders were present at the meeting.
