Speaking  to The Hans India here on  Saturday , she said that summer training classes commenced on April 22 and concluded on June 4 in which  350 students in the age group of 5 to 16 years have taken part. 

Chittoor: Deputy educational officer Prameela Ran said that Bapu Bala Bhavan has conducted summer coaching camp for 45 days in which 350 students took part. The organisers of the training institution taught dance, music mrudangam drawing yoga computers spoken English and drawing courses at the camp
she said.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Saturday , she said that summer training classes commenced on April 22 and concluded on June 4 in which 350 students in the age group of 5 to 16 years have taken part.

Despite shortage of staff, Bapu Bala Bhavan has taken interest in bringing out the talents of the students particularly from BPL families . Out of 350 students covered, above 135 students have taken part in dance, 54 students in music, 54 students in computer education and 42 in mrudangam, she said.

The Deputy DEO said that competitions would be conducted among 350 students on Sunday and awards like Bala Ratna, Bala sri, Bala Surya will be given for winners in which District Education Officer would take part .

She heaped praises on Kesav Pillai, superintendent of Bala Bhavan and Ramachadra Reddy and others for training the students. It may be noted that Bapu Bala Bhavan is doing remarkable job in offering free courses on music, dance, mrudangam and drawing for the past several years .

Students of various government schools availed the opportunity, she added.
