Police impose curb on shop timings
The SP interacted with people as part of Dial Your SP programme here on Thursday. Responding to a caller, Vishal said they he had directed the officials to take measures for better policing in the city.
Nellore: District SP Vishal Gunni asked shops, hotels, bars and other commercial establishments to close down by 10.30 pm every day. He said police would take action against those who run shops, bars and hotels after the scheduled time.
The SP interacted with people as part of Dial Your SP programme here on Thursday. Responding to a caller, Vishal said they he had directed the officials to take measures for better policing in the city.
He stated that instructions were given to shops, hotels and bars to shut down by 10.30 pm as they received several complaints about residents being harassed by drunkards.
Vishal warned youngsters not to ride twowheelers at high speed and without silencers. He said police would book rash driving cases against violators. The SP said exemption given to stalls located near mosques as they are serving food for Muslims, who will be fasting during the month of Ramzan. Senior police officials were present.
