Student feted
At a programme held on Thursday at Vadlamudi in the district, Shaikh Hasina was felicitated for her accomplishments. Krupanidhi said that Hasina was sent to Kyoto Sangyo university under a student exchange programme.
Guntur: Vignan's Univesity student Shaik Hasina emerged as the best student in the experiments conducted at Kyoto Sangyo University in Japan on zebra fish, according to the university biotechnology head of the department Krupanidhi.
At a programme held on Thursday at Vadlamudi in the district, Shaikh Hasina was felicitated for her accomplishments.
Krupanidhi said that Hasina was sent to Kyoto Sangyo university under a student exchange programme.
She went to Japan to increase the lifecycle of zebra fish and give forth to more attractive offspring. She participated in research on zebra fish along with international students. He said that she emerged as the most intelligent of all the students who had taken part in the research.
Hasina thanked university chairman Dr Lavu Rattayya for his support to her in sending her to Japan. University vice-chairman Lavu Srikrishnadevarayalu varsity vice-chacellor Dr C Thangaraj rector Dr B Rammurthy registrar Dr MS Raghunadhan and others took part in the programme.
