44.34 cr sanctioned to AU
The Union Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has sanctioned Rs 44.34 crore to the Andhra University College of Engineering (A) for research works in electronics, system design and manufacturing, IT and IT-enabled Services.
Visakhapatnam: The Union Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has sanctioned Rs 44.34 crore to the Andhra University College of Engineering (A) for research works in electronics, system design and manufacturing, IT and IT-enabled Services.
Under the Visweswaraiah Ph D Scheme for Electronics and IT Scheme, 10 full time and 20 part time researches will be accommodated to do the research work and the funds will be released simultaneously in five years.
Fellowships will be given from these funds to the researchers. Orders to this effect were reached the Andhra University on Tuesday The second phase of AUCET online counselling began here on Tuesday. Registrar Prof V Umamaheswara Rao visited the centre to examine the screening of certificates.
