A man murdered his wife slitting her throat due to a family dispute at their residence at Prasadnagar in Vizianagaram rural area in the wee hours of Tuesday.
Vizianagaram: A man murdered his wife slitting her throat due to a family dispute at their residence at Prasadnagar in Vizianagaram rural area in the wee hours of Tuesday. The incident came to light when their children told the neighbours after noticing their mother lying in a pool of blood on her bed.
The deceased was identified as G Lakshmi (25) while her husband G Krishna is absconding. Vizianagaram Inspector Ravi Kumar said that Lakshmi was married to Krishna six years ago and they were blessed with two daughters of four and three years old. Krishna started torturing Lakshmi since two years alleging that she did not give birth to a boy. On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. A case was registered and investigation is on.
