Man kills drunkard brother
The deceased was identified as Anand Suri and the accused Mahendra Singh Suri.The One Town police said that Anand and Mahendra belong to the Sindhi community and Anand was separated from the joint family few years ago and married a girl. Anand used to visit his elder brother’s shop and demand money to support his bad habits. He often picked up a fight over the money.
Visakhapatnam: A man killed his younger brother in front of their family fancy shop at Spring Road area under One-Town police station limits in the city on Monday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Anand Suri and the accused Mahendra Singh Suri.The One Town police said that Anand and Mahendra belong to the Sindhi community and Anand was separated from the joint family few years ago and married a girl. Anand used to visit his elder brother’s shop and demand money to support his bad habits. He often picked up a fight over the money.
Fed up with the harassment meted out him by his drunkard brother, Mahendra Singh Suri slit Anand’s throat with a knife on the road in front of the shop. DCP (crimes) T Ravi Kumar Murthy said that mother of the siblings tried to save Mahendra Suri by claiming that Anand has committed suicide by slitting his own throat following an argument.
But based on CCTV footage at the area it was confirmed that Mahendra murdered his brother. The police registered a case and arrested Mahendra for investigation.Husband murders wife
