Reliance staff donate blood

Vijayawada: A blood donation camp was organised at Reliance Jio office in the city on Wednesday under the aegis of Rotary Red Cross Blood Bank to mark the 14th death anniversary of Reliance Group founder Dhirubhai Ambani. Dr G Samaram, Chairman of Rotary Red Cross Blood Bank, who was the chief guest, explained the health benefits of blood donation which helps save precious lives in medical emergencies.

People should voluntarily come forward to donate blood, which is a humane gesture, he said. As many as 36 staff of Reliance Jio and Reliance Market donated their blood at the camp. Reliance Jio project coordinator Ramana Rao and administrator Swamyprasad supervised teh conduct of blood donation camp.
