Online registration for vehicles from July 26
Speaking at a press conference here on Friday, Balasubramanyam said online registration system was aimed to facilitate motorists to register their new vehicles, through vehicle dealers at the time of buying.
Vijayawada: Transport Commissioner N Balasubramanyam said the online registration system for vehicles would be inaugurated on July 26.Minister for Transport, Roads and Buildings Sidda Raghava Rao along with Minsters Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao and Kollu Ravindra would inaugurate the online registrations.
Speaking at a press conference here on Friday, Balasubramanyam said online registration system was aimed to facilitate motorists to register their new vehicles, through vehicle dealers at the time of buying.
The motorists should furnish Aadhaar card, address proofs and photos to dealers and pay tax at vehicle showroom. These details will be uploaded online and after verifications, the transport department officials will send the RC book to the customers,” he said.
The Commissioner said that this system was adopted to avoid brokers. The vehicle owners need not come to transport offices for registrations, he said.
