The Department of Visual Communication of Andhra Loyola College organised ‘Color Folks’ event on Saturday to mark the launch of its `TRA’WELL’ campaign to promote road safety in the city.

The Department of Visual Communication of Andhra Loyola College organised ‘Color Folks’ event on Saturday to mark the launch of its `TRA’WELL’ campaign to promote road safety in the city.

As per the course curriculum, the department successfully conducted awareness campaign on social issues like illiteracy, gender discrimination, corruption, global warming, alcoholism and organ donation earlier. Adherence to traffic rules was the theme of the social awareness campaign. A drawing competition and a facial painting event were held as part of the event. School and college students enthusiastically participated in it.

Later, the logo was unveiled. Loyola College principal Fr GAP Kishore, Vice-principal Fr Melchior, Correspondent Fr Raju, PG Vice-principal Fr Rex Angelo, Head of Department of Visual Communication Vijay Srinivasan, Fr Rayappa and other faculty members were present on the occasion. Visual Communication students performed a flashmob to mark the unveiling of `TRA’WELL’ campaign logo.
