World Bank team inspects drinking water scheme works

Guntur: The World Bank team inspected drinking water scheme works in the district on Friday. They inspected Takkellapadu water works and intake well and reservoir works at Undavalli. The World Bank team examined the pipelines laid from Mangalagiri to Takkellapadu.

Later, they instructed the officials to expedite laying of pipelines. The World Bank team also inspected the reservoir that was under construction on Takkellapadu pumping station premises. They instructed the officials to complete the works by December 31.
