APSYF stir for railway zone tomorrow

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Student Youth Federation (APSYF) State committee meeting demanded that the government should declare separate railway zone with headquarters at Vijayawada. The committee meeting was held at federation office here on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, APSYF founder president Navaneetham Sambasiva Rao said that they would launch an agitation for the railway zone on September 15 in Vijayawada. Central government was neglecting the railway zone issue, he alleged. He appealed to the citizens and people’s representatives of Vijayawada and others to participate in the agitation.
Former MLA K Subba Raju would participate in the agitation, he added. APSYF State general secretary Lanka Govinda Rajulu, treasurer Tammina Naveen, women convenor Lanka Sasirekha, State leader P Rajendra and others were present at the meeting.
