society. Participating in the birth anniversary celebrations of Gurajada Apparao, Palle Raghunatha Reddy refered to several literary works
of the greatest poet and said that ‘Kanya Shulkam’ was the master piece among his works.
The characters of Girisham, Madhuravani and Rayappa Panthulu were unforgettable characters. He said that Gurajada was born on
September 21, 1862 in Rayavaram village in Visakhapatnam district. Youth should emulate him, he opined.
